
Founded in Germany in 1992, Edguy, leaded by Tobias Sammet (vocals), with Ludwig (solo guitar), Dirk Sauer (rythm guitar), Tobias Exxel (bass) & Felix Bohnke (drums), will land in Brazil for the 4th time continuing a long european tour.
The concert in Sao Paulo will be on February 15 at Credicard Hall, with exclusive promotion of KissFM 102.1, to present the latest album (from 2008) "Tinnitus Sanctus".
After Brazil, Edguy heads on tour including Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Japan & Rússia.

History & Discography:
- 1992 - Previosly in Kiss and ACDC cover bands, Tobbias Sammet decided to build his own band with own compositions
- Kingdom of Madness (1997)
- Theater of Salvation (1999) - well recognized by critics, they was compared to Helloween and Queensryche and during the tour, Edguy opened Hammerfall, GammaRay and Angra.
- The Savage Poetry (2000 - 2cd set) - in this period, EdGuy was hired to open Iron Maiden concerts.
- Avantasia: The Metal Opera (2001) - Sammet dedicated himself to a parallel project, Avantasia, with star guests such as Michael Kiske, Kai Hanses, Timo Tolkki, Markus Grosskopf & Andre Matos.
- Helfire Club - outstanding work, some more agressive, heavier and consistent, turned to be the best in sales in EdGuy discography, and the hightlights are "Mysteria", "The Piper Never Dies", "The Navigator" & "Lavatory Love Machine" (the latter in dedication to the brazilian flight attendents).
