After the splendid concert of John Lawton, representing the 70's by, not only his, but Uriah Heep's and Lucifer Friend's point of view, was PeterMurphy's time.
It was on Saturday night, when the Via Funchal stage was ready for the great name in the Gothic scenario, Peter Murphy, previously vocal of Bauhaus, which along with Siouxie and the Banshees, Joy Division, Sisters of Mercy founded the Gothic "movement", let me put this way.
For the fans, it was perfect! A beautiful artist, with a powerful and pristine voice, acting on stage as if it was a theater play.
For us, photographers, not that good. As usual, we can photograph the 3 first songs in the photo pit. However, in Peter Murphy's concert, the first one had no lights at all. I was wondering if they were gonna let us stay there until the fourth, but by the end of the third, i realized the answer was "NO"... we were kicked out!!
